Earlier this month, Fiat purchased the remaining 41% of Chrysler, the American car company it has held a majority stake in since 2009. After almost a decade of trying, Mercedes has finally officially thrown in the towel and announced the end of Maybach production. Maybach – a brand name almost unknown outside Germany when it was revived – was supposed to be Mercedes’ answer to Rolls Royce and Bentley. And perhaps it could have been.
The Volvo C30 BEV
Revealed is probably a bit strong as Volvo hasn’t actually rolled out a car for the world to see. But it is a plan – and internal evaluation, apparantly – of an electric Volvo C30. The Volvo C30 BEV is a logical step for Volvo to take for the small C30.
